I personally love this kind of activities (minus the rafting – I’m terrified by that!), so you can bet I always have a blast when I spend some time in the Riviera Maya.
Over the years, I’ve been able to visit many of the parks on this list, and while I have a favorite or two, I think you’ll have a great time no matter which one you choose.

Xcaret
Xcaret Park is another incredibly popular attraction in the Yucatan Peninsula, probably the most famous park of all. Located just south of Playa del Carmen, it’s easily reachable from Cancun and Tulum as well.
This adventure wonderland combines an archaeological site with an aquatic and a theme park. Therefore, it offers a myriad of delightful activities for people of all ages!
The lush Mayan jungle, underground rivers, cenotes, and the shimmering Caribbean Sea are a few of the settings where Xcaret’s activities take place. Besides, it’s an Eco-park that promotes sustainable tourism, which you know I love to support.

You’ll also swim in subterranean rivers, hike on nature trails, and glide on the highest zipline in the peninsula, that’s 49 meters. Did I mention it’s the most visited zip line park in the world?

The drive to Selvatica Park from Cancun takes less than an hour, another reason why it’s soo convenient!
At the park, you’ll get to enjoy 10 incredibly fun ziplines that are unique to Selvatica. There’s the Aquazip, which gets you literally soaked, a thrilling zipline coaster, and a Superman course.

Xavage
