13 Best Places To Watch Flamenco in Seville, Spain

Flamenco is one of the undying art forms that have become synonymous with the city of Seville in Spain. Flamenco is more than a dance – it’s feelings, it’s emotion, it’s a sense of longing.

This precious art, in fact, was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Flamenco is in Seville’s blood and part of the city’s identity since it was born right here. If you visit Seville, there is simply no way that you can pass up the opportunity to get to know this art form. It’s one of the best things to do in Seville.

Seville is the best place to catch a flamenco show to witness the art form in all its glory, but it’s also true that due to the abundance of venues and shows, choosing where to catch one can be quite tricky! That’s why I’m here.

A GUIDE TO THE BEST FLAMENCO SHOWS IN SEVILLE

Flamencos performances are typically performed in venues known as tablaos, and the shows generally include highly choreographed music and dances.

When choosing where to catch a flamenco show in Seville, choose it based on the duration of the show, what the show includes, and the type of venue (touristy or more intimate). Some shows can be as short as 30 minutes, while others include dinner and can last for 2 hours.

With that said, the ticket prices for these shows can also vary. The longer shows will be more expensive as they will include more elaborate performances (and your meal, too). Make sure to plan ahead as these are very popular shows and tickets can sell out fairly quickly.

Here it’s a list of the venues where you can watch the best flamenco in Seville.
