Hello and welcome! Thank you so much for spending a little bit of your precious time checking out who the heck is this girl.
MEET STEF
My name is Stefania (but everyone calls me Stef or Steph), a 30-something girl from Bologna, a beautiful city in northern Italy.
I’m a very happy person; I flirt with life and I’m always smiling or laughing about something. I like to dance to reggaeton and house music in my house when nobody is watching and singing out loud in the car even if I’m a terrible, terrible singer.
I like watching nerdy documentaries on Netflix, going for long walks in the middle of the night with music in my ears, and I can hardly open my eyes in the morning until I have coffee.
It’s hard for me to ever be 100% satisfied with myself and I always struggle for perfection, although perfection doesn’t exist, does it? I live for the little moments, the funny mishaps, and I get excited for the smallest things. Some people could say I’m childish, I say that I’m very much in tune with my inner child, and I hope I’ll never stop living life with this constant sense of wonder.
I have a Bachelor degree in International Studies, a Master in Communications, and another degree in Digital Marketing, and the common path would have been looking for a corporate job. As soon as I finished my studies, though, I knew that the cubicle life wasn’t for me, so I started pouring all my energies into this blog and other freelance jobs that allowed me to have the freedom I so desperately wanted… and here I am! A full-time blogger who still isn’t ready to settle down in one place.
THE STORY BEHIND MY FIRST LOVE
My love affair with travel started at an early age. When I was a kid, my parents used to bring my brother and I around Europe and Italy on long road trips.
At 15 years old I was taking part in a summer exchange program in Australia, and at 16 I flew to Paso Robles, California, where I was an exchange student at the local high school for a year. That was it. There was no turning point. I was hooked, and never stopped ever since.
I loved California so much that I went back to Los Angeles to study at UCLA for a year, and then after I got my master I lived in Barcelona, Spain, until I decided to become a full-time traveler.
5 continents and over 35 countries later, I can say I am extremely lucky. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t to say that this little life I created for myself didn’t come with a lot of hard work and sacrifices. But in the past 4 years, this blog and the digital nomad lifestyle led me to live some incredible, INCREDIBLE experiences.
I got to swim in cenotes in Mexico, became a local in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and flew over the Himalayas in Nepal. I worked for a fashion agency and discovered the quirky side of London, went on an incredible road trip through the Balkans, collected unlimited friends from every corner of the world, and managed to get lost in the worst part of the city …uhm…nearly anywhere.
I mostly traveled solo or explored the world with friends in the past few years, but now things have changed a little and I’ve added to my luggage 86 kg and a 2 meters-tall boyfriend, who now has the unfortunate task of having to take all my Instagram photos.
You can check out Fran’s blog and Instagram if you’re a little nosy.

I LIKE TRAVELING. WHAT ELSE?
Traveling is amazing, but I also like to dedicate time to my other passions.
I like writing fiction, and I like to get lost in words when I feel inspired. It usually happens on trains, don’t ask me why. I’m a very visual person and love creating graphics and designs.
I like fashion (I’m Italian, after all!), and I love shopping for new hats, bikinis, and hats for my Instagram photos. I like to share my outfits on that platform and once in a while here as well in my fashion category.
I have never paid much attention to living a healthy life, until I recently discovered that eating better, exercising, and maintaining healthier habits makes me feel better as a whole. Expect to find more and more content about healthy food and living on this blog.
THE CONCEPT BEHIND EVERY STEPH
“Green is the new black” is my motto. With this blog and my social media, I try to redefine the stereotype of the eco-traveller. I refuse to give up either glamour or an eco-friendly lifestyle, and I want to show you that sustainable travel can easily go hand in hand with a touch of luxury.
If you want to learn more about eco-luxury travel, start from these posts:

However, I’m very flexible with my traveling style. I love exploring cities and spending times at design cafès, but I also like to explore off-the-beaten path destinations and feel like a modern Indiana Jones. On this blog you’ll find both types of destinations.
I believe we can find beauty in every place, be it a tiny street, the most touristy cities in the world, or a village in the middle of nowhere. Beauty is there, we just need to train our eyes so that we can recognize it.
There you go, this is my story. Now that we are so intimate, why don’t you follow me on social media to check out what I’m doing daily and where I’m currently getting in trouble?
You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest always with the handle @everysteph.
I also run a finance blog called Every Coin Matters – check it out!

Nice to find out something about the person who has been sending me invitations for various Italian functions for the past year or more. Hope to meet up at WTM, and meantime, good luck with the travel. I'm with you all the way on that one, just back from Sicily myself. Incidentally, Love Bologna and it's food. In fact, I'm a big fan of Emilia Romagna and all its towns and villages.
