Wondering where to stay in Bermuda? From secluded beach cabins to luxurious all-inclusives, Bermuda has many options for such a small place. Check out the best Bermuda hotels & rentals.
It’s hard to believe that this tiny island on the North Atlantic is so varied in culture and nature.
The British, North American, West Indian, Portuguese, and African influences can be seen everywhere: in the British-style mansions, the sophisticated art galleries, the local accent, and the relaxed vibes (have you ever seen businessmen in Bermuda shorts? You will now!).
Nature doesn’t disappoint either: you can spend days practicing every water sport imaginable, hiking, biking, horse riding, or playing golf. Your pick. With flat expanses, hilly areas, inland lakes, and coral reefs, the variety is impressive, especially considering Bermuda is only 20 miles long!
And of course, there’s the beaches. Bermuda’s famous pink-sand beaches are consistently ranked among the best in the world.
With such variety comes a lot of options in accommodation as well. All-inclusives in Bermuda are a given, of course, but there are also other Bermuda rentals, that won’t force you to break the bank. I’m not going to lie, though: one of the things to know before visiting Bermuda, is that Bermuda is expensive, so take this into consideration before booking your flight.
If you’re wondering where to stay in Bermuda, read on to find out about the best areas and accommodations for all budgets.

Where to Stay in Bermuda FAQ
This is a tough question. Bermuda has world-class beaches all over. But generally speaking, it could be said that the best beaches are in Southampton, Warwick, followed by St. Georges and Sandys. One notable exception is Elbow beach, located in Paget Parish.
Of course, there are several all-inclusive hotels in Bermuda, the most famous one probably being Grotto Bay Beach Resort. Options go from luxurious to boutique to members-only resorts.
The weather in Bermuda can get a bit temperamental, but the good news is that there are things to do all year round. The high season runs from April to September, when there’s incredible weather and low risk of hurricanes. From October to April, the chances of rain increase and it gets a bit more chilly, although there’ll still be plenty of sunshine days. It’s the best period for land-based activities and to grab hotel deals, since prices drop considerably. October is the month with the highest risk of hurricanes.
Bermuda is a very safe place to travel, with a crime rate much much lower than in the United States, for example. Even the small amount of crime that could occur is in great part among locals and it doesn’t affect tourists.
The island is tiny but the things to see and do are endless. With so many natural and historical sights, try to spend at least 4 days in Bermuda. You’ll definitely not see everything, but you’ll be able to hit the main landmarks and best beaches. If you can, try to spend at least a week there, you won’t regret it.
Great question! Car rental is not allowed in Bermuda, because the infrastructure would not support the number of tourists Bermuda receives. To get around, you can rent mopeds, scooters, or electric minicars. If you’re on the fit side, you can rent a bicycle. Taxis are widely available too, or you can always use public transport (buses and ferries), although this last option can be more time-consuming.
